I sent my first college application today.
Guilford Down
Earlham and Oberlin to go

I am excited to have my first one done because it means the initial thinking is done and now I can use the first essay and adapt it as needed or write a new thing.

Hey, Rebecca--

Was glad you and Traci got to have some quality time on the road. It was kinda fun having that brief minute or two talking to you while your mom was helping with the cooking. Kinda surreal.

Keep us posted on the college thing. I'm amazed I've ended up where I am, just because of the college I went to (Haverford, and I graduated with your folks--though I *never* had a conversation with either of them until a few months ago!).

Blessings,

What? Not UCSC? Or maybe SFSU? That would be even closer. We could have you over for dinner every night...

Good luck! I still feel I should say that the reasons I most value my college education today have nothing to do with the reasons I went in with. I wanted to work in international politics but now I am glad that unbeknownst to me it was a Catholic college and they made me take theology.

And by the way, you probably didn't know it, but I tagged you a while back.

I love the photo of the quilt...although you and Grace look really short...I guess you're parents are standing on something to make them look so tall!!!
